GIVE THE GIFT OF LEARNING
Adults with low literacy levels and a lack of marketable skills are more likely to be unemployed and have low income, poor health, and limited involvement in the community.

Skills Upgrading Centre works with adults to improve their literacy, math, computer and employability soft skills so they can work towards reaching their maximum potential and be contributing members of society.

Whether a person has specific employment goals, wants to pursue higher or specialized education or is looking for personal fulfillment, our programs are designed not only to help that person learn, grow and succeed, but also to enrich the community as a whole.

Without the generous support of funders, donors, and volunteers like you, we wouldn’t be able to help adults in the community develop a lifelong love of learning.
Ontario literacy levels by the numbers:

-
42% of adults in Ontario lack proper literacy skills
-
21% of adults in Ontario struggle with basic math
-
Less than 5% of these adults participate in adult literacy programs

With your help, we can make a positive impact in people’s lives and create a more inclusive community from which we all benefit. Please consider supporting our mission today.
